Dear Folks

I need your valuable clarification for the following

I am having a scenario where from a Big Master piece of Log which is crushed in to four other pieces of different size of logs with different ratios & get subrated from Master log material -

Ex: Master Log 'A' Qty is 100 KG

When I crush this in proper ratio to get Other logs i.e, 25% of Log 'B', 50% of Log 'C' & remaining 25% for Log 'D' all the Master log will get consumed to get these three above materials.

In this case following are my considerations:

1. The Main Big log as Semi finished and marked the procurement type as 'X' in MRP View.

2. Created a BOM for Big log Material with the Components 'B', 'C', 'D' & ('A' itself (Big log Material)) as Components and marked -ve sign for 'B', 'C', & 'D' and nothing for 'A'.

3. Checked the Recursive allowed indicator in Material Item details view.

4. Made 'B', 'C' & 'D' as Co-products in its material masters.

Now, please tell me can I create a Production Order for Material 'A' to get 'A' itself to consume in 261 and to get remaining small log materials in 531 as bi products.

Will the Costing get affect?

Any discrepancy in this, Request your guidance please.
