Help required in handling a sample webdynpro project

Hi all,

I am new to SAP and webdynpro, I created a new webdynpro project which access data from R/3. when I try to run it, it says there r no jco connections defined, I searched the web they say some jco,sld etc. I meshed up with this. Does some body tell me what is the actual process of development, deployment and running the project wht is this jco , sld for. And when i tried to create a new Id in content administrator it raises an error cannot create.
