MS Exchange integration: "Create Appointment" not possible

Hello together,

concerning the integration of MS Exchange into EP collaboration we have encountered a problem while trying to create an appointment.

Accessing the users calendar is working flawless, but trying to create an appointment, e.g. from the standard "Work" page, returns the message "Service types have not been configured. Contact your system administrator."!

Has anybody has an idea what we may have missed during the configuration?

Thanks in advance,

Bernd Neukamp

    Hi Bernd,

    Try this..

    1. Go to System Admin - System config - Collaboration - Synchronous collaboration Services

    2. Check the Available Service types.

    3. You should be able to find RTC Appln Sharing and WebEx pre-configured.

    4. Now go to "Activated Service Types". If you find this empty click on "New" and add the available service types (RTC and Webex).

If this requires a restart of the J2ee engine, pls do the same.

    Hope this would help.

    Regards,

    venkat.
