XI report to show up in BW

hI Please let me know if My company BMW Inc want to import XI data into BW let me know if any body have some steps or job aid to do this whole thing any code will be good. i already know the document "push data into bw from xi" so if any of you can send me please some thing more will be good.

Hi Kamaljeet, Thanks for the help if you can clarify if Business Object XI has any thing to do with BW AND xi REPORTING, i think BO-XI is different and not having any connection to BW.

also if you can send me ur email at my email (no email addresses in here!)to exchange few documents would be great.

As per my understanding BO is for purpose of Reporting, and we use third party OLAP DB Connections to do reporting using BO on BW.

What is the actual scenario which you are looking for? Do you want to store BO Reporting O/P to BW using XI?

Hi Kamaljeet THANKS for the help, Please tell me the use and way to connect the o/p of different source systems thru XI to BW. Also if you have any document that help to connect output of BO to BW either by XI or OLAP DB please send me , since we are looking to use XI and find out what XI can do for the business reporting in BW. I read ur documents which are very valuable but i saw that they have given the code to pass say amt, material, cal day in pay code and then we recieve in BW so that means we need to code all the fields like that to pass in bw or how it works. please help. sorry for this I am new to XI, hence need ur help to implement at my client BMW.

Hi KJ, I am at BMW Inc 0&FS (BI team). Requirement is to report the XI data PASSING THRU XI(which is in the form of Idocs) TO BI. Azer system is Customer x (BMW -L)which Send order via XI to Vertex system Vendor Y (BMW - M) which recieve order and put the tax amount and send back tax info to Azer system is Customer x (BMW -L). now all this data pass thru XI as central station in form of idoc how those Idocs are stored in XI so that I can link the XI idocs to BI datasource which i will create in BI, Can u help to clarify this where to check the idocs that pass thru this and how to create a datasource in XI for the idocs of customer order and Tax info which pass thru XI and link it to BW .
