NW04s SP9 Sneak Preview - dispatcher & server0 doesn't start

Hello All,

I have installed NW04s SP9 Trial version (sneak preview). The installation went fine but I cant get the engine running.

SDM starts, but dispatcher and server0 doesnt start.

jControl.EXE never turns green. Its status is Some Processes running.

dispatcher doesnt start and its status is Starting Framework.

server0 doesnt start and its statu is Starting Framework.

Here are the last few lines of the developer trace for each of them:

Interesting thing i found in all of them was that this error:

[Thr 2968] JStartupICheckFrameworkPackage: can't find framework package C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC01\exe\jvmx.jar

I searched for jvmx.jar file in the path but it doesnt exist.

I've got 2GB of RAM, so memory should not be the issue. I also played around with the heapsize settings as described in the other posts, but none solved the problem.

Please guide me.

Thanks,

D.
