workflow application error for background method

Former Member

A method to be used in background has been defined with the raise of an exception 9001 in certain circumstances. The exception has been set as "application error" and NOT "Temporary error".

As a subsequent step has been created (send of a message) for this outcome, I expect the workflow to continue working, that means to execute the next step.

Unfortunately, the workflows stops with the status "Error" because of the raise of the exception 9001.

Many thanks in advance for your support.

Hi,

If the method tries to execute the raise 9001 and in your workflow you don't model this step (tab outcomes in the step definition), you'll get an error.

Thanks for your answer.

Yes, I have an outcome in my step for this and it is activated (green). Furthermore, I have a comming step in the workflow defined if this outcome occurs.

Kind regards,
