PM module Workflow

Hi all,

I am creating Notification through IW25. I have to send a mail whenever a notification is created. I am using a subtype of BUS2038. But I am unable to trigger my workflow through the transaction. The event linkages are all checked. Should there be any entry made in some other transactions to enable the triggering of the workflow. I am new to this concept. Kindly help me.
