Regarding Version Management

hi,

i created a report generating a request number DEV1110.

I activated the report and transported the request to production server from development server.

Subsequently i make changes in the same report generating request numbers DEV1111, DEV1112, DEV1113.

For each request number i activate the report and transport it from dev server to prd server.

after some time for the same report i want to revert back to request number DEV1110, which is my initial request number.

Can i do this.

if yes.... how???

Hello John,

In the meenu bar UTILITIES-->Version Management(SE38)

Check the actzive version and the old version and click the retreive button and active.

Follow this path. GOTO->versions-> version Management ..

there you will find the different versions of your programs

Hi John,

You could only revert back from version management and assign a new request number. Then you need to transport the new one to take that into effect.

hi,

the only way to get the previous versions is

go to the program

from menubbar utilities->versions->version management

it will display all the versions that exists for that program with date and specific time.

place the cursor on the version u want to retrieve and click on retrive button.
