Hello Everyone,

We are in the process of upgrading and Migrating from BW /NW 7.3 ,BPC 10.0 (classic) on DB2 to BW /NW 7.5 SP05 ,BPC 10.1(classic) on HANA 1.0 SPS 12 version 122.6.

1. We are Planning to Enable "ENABLE_HANA_MDX " model parameter along with "ENABLE_NATIVE_HANA_MODEL" and other HANA related Parameters. Could you please suggest me is there any performance issues we will get.

2. We are using customized measures in Planning Model (in this model we need to enable above HANA Parameters) .Once we enable those parameters do we need to modify present BW MDX code (using for custom measures).please provide some suggestions on this.

Best Regards,

Praveen.

"1. We are Planning to Enable "ENABLE_HANA_MDX " - can be different effects 🙂 In general performance will be better.

"2. We are using customized measures" - depends on you custom measure!

Scripts has to be tested also...

Before doing anything, I'd suggest checking the PAM for BPC and check the versions of the components you're using: BPC, HANA DB, HANA Revision etc.

https://blogs.sap.com/2016/02/23/bpc-101-on-bw-750/

Make sure that this won't affect any of the current functionality, such as YTD calcs etc.

"i could not change the code" - no comments... it's absolutely easy - just press down on the last code line and you are on the not code line!
