We have multiple activity going on on iSeries for which we have created 2 TMKSVR instances with diffrent numer and port on same host. One instance is used by SAPinst to do refresh activity and other one is used by SAPinst for BW install. But the first activity is going in to error. Is it possible to start multiple TMKSVR on the same host. What is the configuration that is required. So that both the activity can be performed simultaneously without any isses. We have iSeries V5R4.
I would think that as long as the TMKSVR's have a different instance numbers, ports , you should be able to run multiple instances. I do not see a problem until there is a catch.
