Hi Steve,

Why dont you check the Standard rule <b>168</b>. I am sure, that will give you some idea of Agent Determination. I mean, please refer the SWX_GET_MANGER function module.

In this, you can see RH_STRUC_GET is the function module that determines the required Agent/related Org Object using the Evaluation path(see the parameter - ACT_WEGID), here they have used SAP_TAGT.

I hope this helps.

Thanks guys, I am just trying to learn and I dont have any particular requirement. The info regarding RH_STUC_GET was quiet useful. I am awarding full points for you guys.

If possible could you tell me if where(table) the roles assigned to a user are getting saved.

Thanks,

steve

Hi Steve,

If you mean to see the table which has the Evaluation paths, you can get it by <b>T778A</b> table.

Hi

Did u mean the authorization roles assigned in SU01. If yes i could see in my system a table AGR_USERS which contains these details (or AGR_USERT).

Hi Steve,

Can you explain your requirement. I am working on a requirement where a form is raised for an employee and the workitem will have to be delivered to his manager's manager. For this i have determined the employees manager from IT0001. Then using this manager ID i determine the managers manager using A002 evaluation path in HRP1001. If your requirement is something similiar to this then i might be able to suggest something.
