Posting period initialization

Hi floks,

Whan i tried to initialied posting period for 03 1998 it shown the error message.

<b><u>Follow the instructions in note 487381 before initialization</u></b>.

can anyone please help me.

Hi Sam!

Start with <a href="http://service.sap.com/notes">SAP notes</a> and enter 487381 to search your note.

... follow the instructions ...

When i tring to open the sap note it saked Logon & passward. plese help me.

Hi Sami!

There you can enter OSS-user and password.

OSS-notes are internal information for SAP-customers, so this user is asked. But every SAP-customer has to have an OSS-user for his installation, so you should get (any) OSS-user somehow.

As long as you just search information, the OSS-user can be from any customer, only when you install OSS-notes you need to use the correct user, too.
