How to send Alert mail when table T000 updated

Hi Experts,

Thank you for your attention. My requirement is that when table T000 is updated, we want to send an alert mail out.

I searched the google, someone suggest to create event for T000 in table maintenance generator and then we could give our coding. I think this solution is suitable for custom tables. Here T000 we might need object key. And this table T000 is very important. It might have risk to do such enhancement.

Do you have any other suggestion such as workflow or something else? Thank you so much.

Hi Rob,

Yes, it is very strange. As you said this table is very important, I'm afraid to enhance it create table maintenance event might have potential risk if our custom coding to trigger workflow event. So I'm search any solution if we could skip enhance T000.

Hi,

T000 is the client table, why would you even allow people to change it? In most companies, no one is able to change it and if the need arises to temporarily open the client for changes then that will be fulfilled with a to be approved process.

I think when changes to t000 occur frequently then there is something wrong on a basic level and that has to be addressed first.
