We are working on SRM 3.0 classic,
We are having a situation where there are 2 different purchasing orgs in the backend, but wanting to use the same set of purchasing groups for them both.
In EBP, all purchasing groups are assigned to purch org1. When we try to create a new purch org2 in EBP, we realised that purchasing groups are always tied to the purchasing organization which is above.
Hence in EBP we are unable to use the same purchasing groups in 2 different purchasing Orgs?
It is kind of strange because in SAP R/3, the same purchasing group can be used to against different Orgs.
Can somebody confirm if that is true in EBP. If not any suggestions please?
Hi Jayendu,
You are correct, EBP is more restrictive than R/3 on this point.
You cannot share Pgroups to more than one Porg.
If you have some issue mapping EBP Pgroups to R/3 groups, you can use badi to implement this behaviour.
Kind regards
Yann
