FIscal year varaint does not come up on Portal

Hi all,

I am running a query which has a mandatory input on variable screen for Fiscal year varaint. When I run that query on portal I do not see the varaint that we have in BW system, it just shows me "#". When actually I have defaulted the varaible as N6 the fiscal year varaint that we are using.

If I run the same query in RSRT that it does pick up the value N6 and runs perfectly.

So why is the value not coming on portal, any ideas?

I had a similar issue once before...but with month selection.all i could see was #..you might probably want to search for OSS notes regarding that....i solved the problem by clicking 'f4' a couple of times and after a couple of tries the values show up....

Hello Asha,

I tried searching for notes but did not find any relevant notes. I tried teh F4 thing but doesnt work for me. Now I having this same issue with other report as well.

Prakash, Do you have any thoughts on this.
