REPOSCAN - RDT issue

Former Member

Hey there,

I've got a question about the RDT tool. I've preconfigured a bat file to run the RDT as follows:

D:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64\reposcan.exe"

-dbdriver sqlserverdatabasesubsystem

-connect "UID=UID;PWD=PW!;DSN=DSN"

-inputfrsdir "G:\Input" # here also used previos a unc path

-outputfrsdir "G:\Output" # here also used previos a unc path

-dbkey DBKEY # also tried to use the dbkey in front of inputfrs

But each run I get a

"Initializing...Internal error: An unknown exception has occurred." as result.

Some iedeas?

Regards

Marcus

Not sure if it matters or not, but in my file i don't have quotes around the -connect parameter value.

I do have:

-outputdir "."
-count 10000000

I assume you are calling reposcan.exe with the -optionsfile parameter pointing to the options file location?

Try running cmd.exe with administrative privileges.

I don't believe that this is the error. Previous it worked with this quotations for the "separated" Repos (we had 2 inconsistent repos) and the reposcan worked
