Hi experts,

What I want to know is, how could we get REST adapter in our PI7.4 system with abap+java stack?

Thank you very much in advance.

Best Regards,

Leo

Please be aware that there were significant additions to the REST adapter in 7.4 SPS 13 (please note the horrendous version numbering introduced in SP 12, see here https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/0002210959)

Cheers

Hi Leo,

Tell your Basis team to download required ESR and deploy-able components from marketplace.

Basis needs to deploy REST adapter in the JAVA stack. Once done import adapter metadata into ESR so that you can access this from ID.

Thanks,

Apu

Hi Leo,

Your basis team only need to download and import SAP BASIS 7.4 SCV. This link is a bit old but it can be helpful

Hi Leo,

You don't need to do anything you only need to have your PI at least in 7.31 SP14 / 7.4 SP09

Hi Vila,

Thank you for your reply. As you say, we can get the REST adapter ready after we upgrade the 7.4 SP level to 9? We need not to do anything besides this?

Thank you again.

Best Regards,

Leo
