Problem of performance to Define Cells of the bar of tool of the query desi

Hello

We have a query containing 2 structures and we defined 250 cells containing functions in the intersection of our two structures.

Now we meet problems of performance when we want to modify the request (Several minutes for the opening of the request in modification in Query Designer).

Have you a solution?

We are having exactly the same issue here. The first query we encountered the problem was barely usable (changing query definition). There is a second one with almost double the lines in one structure and it is unacceptable. About 20 minutes to open or save, 4 minutes to close a formula window.

It appears to be related to the performance of the frontend machine (processor load is saturated by BEX Designer). We tested in faster frontend machines and got sensible difference (from 20 minutes to 15) but still unacceptable.

Does anyone have any tips to optimize BEX Designer performance.

Currently using SAPGUI 6.40 patch 4 with Bex 3.50 patchlevel 10.
