BPC 10.0 MS to BPC 10.0 NW on HANA

Hello Experts,

I have a BPC 10.0 for MS customer that is a prime candidate for HANA. Can anyone supply more information on the typical steps to get from BPC 10.0 for MS onto BPC NW (latest release) on HANA? How intensive is it also?

Thanks,

Sean

I suspect the answer depends on the current capabilities utilized by the BPC MS version at the customer and also which version of SAP BPC NW you intend to migrate; ie. Standard or Embedded (or wait for the BPC/4BW option in Q32017). Moving from MS to NW standard version would be a rebuild of the core applications (or if the migration tool exists using that route), movement of the application data, then each template needs to be repointed and connected in each model. With a well developed plan, I would estimate 6-8 weeks, assuming the current state may be locked down for a period to mitigate current state, future state edits. But check with Jeff Swoboda in DBS finance for a concrete effort estimate by the SAP BPC team.
