    Hi Ami,

I have come across this kind of strange behavior in absence quota deduction earlier. Sometimes the deduction quota doesn't reflects properly in IT2001 and IT2006.
Try this, it may resolve your issue. Go to se38, Enter RPTKOK00 and execute it, In the selection screen enter the personnel number and also flag the "Check Leave deduction" field.
If it doesn't work, execute RPTBPC10 in se38 and enter pernr ,period and also flag "Correct leave deduction" field along with other flagged fields.
Check PA30, the IT2006 absence quota deduction will be properly adjusted based on the IT2001.

don't ask for points, its known to community to accept correct answers. No need to prompt : Moderator !

You really need to elaborate more on your scenario, can you include some screen shots?

An IT2006 should always have a "Sub-type" since it refers to a Quota. Please post a screen capture to explain what you mean or experience.

A Quota (in IT2006) will be affected as soon as you save an Absence (IT2001). You should even be able to see what impact the Absence will have on the Quota before it is saved, since it should show the "Absence Days", the "Calendar Days" and the "Quota used". The first two are often different values, while the "Absence Days" and the "Quota used" will often have the same value.

You could use the programs mentioned by Fareedh to correct some problems (the second should be available through t-code PT_BPC10), but you should first investigate why the problem occurred in the first place.
