Incoterms based route determination

Hi Gurus,

I am new to SAP and only trying to understand some concepts.

I am aware that it is not possible to base route determination on incoterms (right?), however I it is possible to base it on shipping conditions. Therefore, in the case my business requirement is to have routes based on incoterms, I would assume that shipping conditions should be linked to incoterms somehow.

Can anyone explain how this can be achieved and whether this is the correct way to do it?
