Hi Team,

Is it possible to write the file directly to AL11 directories in ECC-LINUX through SAP PI receiver FTP channel with transport protocol as NFS?

Anyone worked on such scenarios?

Regards,

Krushi.

Hi Krush!

I think it's possible if your PI system account has sufficient rights to access these directories on file system.

Hi Krushi,

I am not sure about Linux but I had worked on interfaces where ECC directories were NFS mounted(basically done by BASIS) on PI application server and we used File adapter with NFS protocol to place the files.

Once the ECC directories are NFS mounted on PI server then they should be visible in Transaction AL11(assuming you are on dual stack of PI) of you PI system.

Thanks,

Amit

We have lots of scenarios writing the file on ECC NFS from PI. our ECC and PI both are on Linux. ECC Linux directories are mounted on PI. You should be able to see those directories using AL11.

As your ECC is hosted on Linux OS so by default it is hosted as FTP server so you can connect it via FTP or another option as others suggested you can do via NFS via mounting.
