SCM 4.0 > 5.0 SR1 Upgrade iSeries failed START_SHDI_FIRST

Hello,

We lost power during SAPUP phase START_SHDI_FIRST. Now, we can no longer start the shadow instance. The error:

-

Starting shadow system ...

Error message CPF0006 running 'startsap SID(G21) INSTANCE(30) PROFILE('/usr/

sap/put/G21/SYS/profile/START_DVEBMGS30_LVS410')'

SAPup error message

SAPup> SEVERE ERROR: Starting system failed, rc=-4

See file '/usr/sap/put/log/SAPup.ECO' for details.

- "continue"

- "cancel"

Enter one of these options [

continue] :=

The SAPup.ECO file appears to be corrupted. I've tried to correct the file and delete the corrupted entries, but only the following processes start: msg_server, and sapstart . DISP+WORK is not starting and STDOUT trace is reporting libregx.o does not exist.

Any suggestions on why the shadow instance is not starting up?

Thanks for you help.

Regards,

Thomas Pham
