FB08 - XXXX Plant Does not exist

Hi,

Im trying to reverse a document with a business area defined on each of the line items. However, when i try saving the reversal document in FB08 i get the error, plant XXXX (e.g. 1234) does not exist.

I tried checking in OBB7 and found the Business area defined in that table (not sure if this is the right place to look).

Hope you can help me with this. thanks!

please check what reversal reason u r putting in the Clearing reason.

Is there a long text to the message you get? If so, it may give more information.

Hi rob,

Sadly, the long text is also the same as the message. XXXX Plant does not exist.

The value of the BA in each of the line items are all similar (e.g. ZZ01) and the value displayed in the error is also ZZ01 but its identifying it as a plant?

as per ur POST ZZ01 is  Business Area , but u are getting error ZZ01 plant doesnt exit ? So problem is ur entry ? y its taking ZZ01 as a plant in Reversal.

so 1st check in the origin (source.document), if their is an assignment to plant ZZ01

2) if yes, check ZZ01 agaainst table t001w

Maintenance of the business area should be done in OX10. Thanks for all the help guys! Issue is now solved.
