NI Calculation for deceased employee

Hi,

Can someone tell me how the NI is processed for an deceased employee.

Is the NI Calculated for an deceased employee?.According to HMRC employer shouldn't deduct NI for a deceased employee.

Do we have any logic built in payroll driver.

    Dear Chinni

    You can make the employee as inactive in system & lock the payroll in IT0003 Payroll status.Even in IT00069 NIC Selected the NI Category X N.I. Non Applicable.This will not deduct the NIC contribution of deceasd employee.
