Hi,

I'm trying to set a box-shadow for a grid layout component. It works fine with Chrome however IE does not render it as expected.

I've read that lower IE versions have this problem; however I'm using IE 11.
What am I missing here, any suggestions?

Thanks!

.mainbox {
background-color:	#c0c0c0;
box-shadow: -14px9px20px0px#000000;
}

I've found the solution. Following statement fixes the problem.

border-collapse: separate !important;

I use this code for box-shadow for a hover-effect, and it is working nicely in IE 11

.myBackground:hover{
box-shadow: 4px 4px 8px black;
margin-left: 2px;
margin-right: 2px;
margin-top: 2px;
margin-bottom: 2px;
}

Hi Koen,

Which template and mode (ui5 / uif.m) do you use? Also, are you using 1.6 version as well?
