no data transfer possible application is being processed

Dear,

In ESS, ITS version, Portal 6.0, SAP 4.6c ... In internal vacancy application, when the Ad and vacancy created, personnel officer assigned, they when we announced that there is a vacancy in ESS, employees not able to apply as its showing them “no data transfer possible application is being processed” but in fact it was missing authorization in Object HR applicant, authorization level: W, infotypes 0001 and 0002, but its not showing that “you are not authorized to view that transaction” .. why this message was not there in ESS? so that we will know that it is an authorization issue not something else ..

thanks

    Dear Abdulrahman,

You are right. It should have displayed the correct message. It could be that this message has been used in other scenarios as well or it is being cancelled even before validating user authorization.

Anyways, you can display the correct message.

    1. Maintain a Z message class. Call your Z message class instead of the standard message class using a proper BAdi/Enhancement.

    2. Go to SE91 -> Enter message class and message number -> change -> change the text as per your requirement. But, then this is not recommended. As you do not really know in how many places this particular message has been used.

Hence, you can go for the method 1.

    Hope this will help.

    Regards,

    Naveen.
