APO DP Product Grouping

Hi there,

I have a requirement in DP to group products in a very specific way which will also vary as business strategy varies.

Example:

Group 1 would 1 or two products at most

Group 2 would have all the rest (could be 300 or more)

The main issue here is maintaining the changes ad-hoc and I'm looking for an easy way to group and ungroup when needed.

I am aware that we could roughly do this through selection profiles but we couldn't display both groups at the same time in the planning book and that won't do. Need to have both at the same time.

Am thinking of a nav attribute but how do I update it? Could I use the Product Group in the Properties2 tab of mat1 to maintain and then fill the nav attribute? Or use a field in the extra tab?

Am looking at tens of thousands of CVCs.
