error in Matl download

hi, i am getting the following error while downloading a material group from ECC 5.0-> CRM 5.0 :

"Category for product hierarchy 1010AV does not exist"

i had carried out the download of DNL_CUST_PROD1 and

i've checked this material group is present in CRM as category to hierarchy R3MATCLASS.

please provide inputs to resolve this issue.

Hi RH,

Normally by download the object DNL_CUST_PROD1 again resolves the issue. Please confitm again the following:

use the transaction COMM_HIERARCHY search for Hierarchy -> double click on R3PRODHIER and go for the product hierarchy 1010AV till the last node. In the category tab you should have the Category ID. If not then downlod the object DNL_CUST_PROD1 again. And then try to download few products which belongs to that hierarchy by doing a request download.

Also check whether you are getting an error "Category for material type XXXX does not exist" if yes them maintain that also.

the product hierarchy itself was missing from ECC system.

we plan not to download the products attached to this hierarchy, we assigned a filter and gone ahead with rest of the products.
