Regarding Delta

Hi

Experts

I am Doing LO Extraction.. i had taken Update Mode as

Direct Delta. and Loaded Data sucessfully . Now can i change the Update mode to Quueed Delta.. I heared that if we take Directdelta.. In Future if Delta Fails it will Be Diffcult..

<b> I am not Sure About it</b>.. so i was in a Confusion Now.. My Question is can i change the Update Mode..

if i change that what are the Problems.. or else

Can i go through Like this

Please Through some Light on this Issue

    Hi Purushottam,

    Generally Direct Delta is used when you have a lot of records produced in a short time, so you need to make a lot of upload during the day (in some cases every hour).

    If you do not have this situation it is better Queued Delta. To change it is better you stop users, make last upload of your delta and then change Delta mode.

    Perhaps you will be asked to make another Init. In this situation, with user stopped and last delta already uploaded you have to delete delta queue and make an Init without data transfer.

    for shifting DIRECT to Queued, v hav to make rsa7 empty for DS. then v hav to shedule it in job contrl
