How to use ALE service layer in EDI?

Hi All,

In EDI process we can use ALE Service layer to filter, convert or change version. But I don't know how to achieve this. I guess using Distribute Model, is it right? If so, a client for edi subsystem(non-sap system) need be defined in SAP R3 system. I doubt about this.

Another problem is how to define a client for non-sap system in SAP R3 sytem.

Can some guys give me help?

the same way as you do for an SAP system

via TCODE SALE - logical system is not an SAP system

it's a "logical system"
