TRFN, DTP, Infopackage not getting transported from dev to qa

Hello all,

I am trying to transport my BI objects from dev to QA and I am having issues like Transformation, DTP's and Infopackages not getting transported at all. All my cubes and DSO's are getting transported are inactive though. When I replicated all my datasources from R/3 they came over as 3.x rather than 7.0.

When i go to rsa1 (of QA system) -> Tools -> Conversion of logical source system names. There i put my source system as dev bw and then in target as BW qa system. But I am not able to check mark than box called "7.0". IS that check mark important?

We first did sort of a test run of transport by transporting just a few infoobjects and it went perfectly fine all the objects were transported and active.

The only difference was the first time the 7.0 check box was on.

Can someone tell am I missing something ?

Edited: We tried again today, its still acting weird it does transport everything (except DTP) for small packages and some times it fails everything.

    Hi there,

    We are also facing DTP transport issue with SP09.

    Interestingly, DTP worked earlier:

    1. Installed SNOTE related to 942392 tempfix.

    2. Installed SP08 as stated in OSS 942392

    Now, we will try patching SP10 as per note 973545 and see if this issue gets resolved.

    Meanwhile, if you have any thoughts or suggesstion please let us know.

    Hi all,

    We are currently experiencing similar problems when transports Process Chains.

    System Details:

    BI 7.0 SP9 with additional notes implemented as we were experiencing problems with DTP transports (have fixed up some problems but still experiencing others)

    When transporting the PC from BD to BQ, they transport successfully but when we review in the BQ system to save and activate, there are errors and now warnings.

    We have noticed that within the one PC, a number of the same DTPs are showing. Has anyone experienced the same problem?

    Is there a specific note that will assist in solving the PC transporting issues?

    Hi Wiki,

    Install note 951390 for the problem of the DTP multiplication in the process chain.
