ESS configuration

Hi,

In portals ESS configuration task will take care by admin people or developers? I am beginner for portals. It would be great, If some one can explain Basis person tasks at Portal level.

admin main tasks are :

1. Taking the online and offline backup

2. Shutdown and Starting of EP

I should add :

Configuration of components of portal

Access/Security management

Other maintenance like update/upgrade

Monitoring of portal/Database

I think ESS configuration should be an admin task.

But I am portal admin AND a developper, so I do most of the stuff.
