Shortage report (custom)

Dear experts,

My client is opening a work order and ready to release it to the shop and we have a shortage in material but we have an open PO to the vendor but the date is within the required date of the PO start date. it isn't a shortage??

My clients requirement is to display open production orders and its components. It should also display Purchase order information( Open PO, PO qty, pending qty, Vendor, date required by). your inputs are highly appreciated .

By Developing a custom report with ABAP you can display the information as you want.
