SAP HANA SQL FUNCTION LOCALTOUTC - Day light savings

Hello, Please let me know how HANASQL function LOCALTOUTC handles day light saving..

As shown below , using LOCALTOUTC, +8 is added for PST to UTC time conversion.

But during daylight it should be +7

Aslo the FM IB_CONVERT_INTO_TIMESTAMP returns +7

This is apparently not an ABAP question.

I'm not a HANA expert but in the HANA example you are converting the date in January, which is not during daylight savings time. In the FM example you're converting the date in March 2017.

Daylight savings time starts around March and runs till around November in the US. You can find more precise information on start/end dates in Google.
