Testing services and exceptions

Hello,

i have a general question with the handling of the service browser. Is there a way to get more details of an exception? The information provided within the service browser about exceptions are not very informative and helpful.

thanks in advance,

regards,

Rene

You can also click on the red "!" on the bottom of the screen to view the stack trace.

    You can check default log:

\usr\sap\<instance>\JC<id>\j2ee\cluster\server0\log\defaultTrace.X.trc. By default all logging and tracing content must be located in this logs.

If you changed "ForceSingleTraceFile" value from YES to NO, log files will be destributed depending on log configuration(check it in Visual Admin: <instance> -> Server x xx_x -> Kernel -> Log Manger).

    Check theLog" target="_blank">http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/b7/54e63f48e58f15e10000000a155106/content.htm">Log Configuration

      Hi Aliaksei,

thanks a lot for the quick reply, you helped me out! Even thought i don't really find it convenient to handle three different applications for debugging.

      but again thank you!

      regards,

      Rene
