Help on uploading long text for task operation in PM modul

Hi,

I have to upload a long text for operation in task,

i.e. transction IA05, IA06.

In operation tab I have to upload a long text.

Hi Sourabh,

You can upload through LSMW, Standard Direct Input programme is available. Details as below.

Object 0001 Long texts

Method 0001 (No selection)

Program Name /SAPDMC/SAP_LSMW_IMPORT_TEXTS

Program Type D Direct Input

You can use this programme to upload Long Texts.

Hi,

I'm tried the LSMW to upload Task List long text, as advised.

However, after performing the upload (Direct Input), the long text is not reflected in the Task List. This program worked for other objects like Functional Location and Maintenance Plan Long Text.

For Task List Header Long Text, I used the following values:

Text Name - 260A05000136A100000001

Language - E

Text ID - PLKO

Text Object - ROUTING

From the Text name, I can deduce that:

260 = client number

A = Task List type

05000136 = Group

A1 = Group Counter

00000001 = not sure what this is

My question is, is there anything else that I need to do after this LSMW run - or am I doing anything wrong here?

for each operation u have to uplaod the long text right and if u want to do this take the long text and operation in separate internal table wn ever this comes read it from the interanl table and transfer it to the destination

the steps can be achieved using recording, see the recording flow.

Hello!

If you just only have to maintain the texts, you may write an ABAP, using the following function modules: READ_TEXT, SELECT_TEXT, SAVE_TEXT.

To use these FM-s, you have to know the:

- ID: 'PLKO'

- OBJECT: 'ROUTING'

- LANGUAGE: sy-langu

- NAME: name of the planned group

To see the text in SAP, you can use the tables: STXH, STXL.
