I'm Carlo, I want to know if i can use rows identifiers in the sintax of Format Search.
Can anyone help me?
I know that i can use Item/Column ($[$Item.Column]) but i don't know if i can use rows (for example in the rows of the invoice).
Bye

Hi Carlo,
very good question!
I just tried the following formatted search on 2005A SP1 PL08 and it works like a charm...
SELECT $[$38.0.0]
this return current line number on the current document rows (documenti vendita/acquisto).
Hope this helps

OK maybe I misunderstood your question...
If the document is not yet stored you have to write an add-on to retrieve matrix cell values on different rows, otherwise you could select document rows from the proper db table using the VisOrder field value (together with DocEntry) in the WHERE clause of a SELECT statement...
Bye

Hi Carlo,
The restriction is clear: If you are in a row you can access only items in that row. If you are outside the rows, say header, you can only access to the first row, using the sintax you show ($[$Item.Column]).
Hope helps,
