Hi Experts,

My Client is a pen manufacturing company. They have six department in their plant & each department has many machine & each machine has many mould. Activity types are Machine cost, Mould Cost, Labour Cost, Staff Salary, Power cost, Shed Rent, Repairs & Maintenance, Store & Administration & Cleaning & Checking. Each machine & Mould price is different. There is maintained discrete Manufacturing.

Please suggest me how to implement product costing for the same. It is very very urgent.

Hi Biplab,

As said by nishan your question requires detailed study of the client process and work with CO team, you please work with your CO consultant for a better solution.

as for the information you can take 1. Machine cost

2. mold cost

3. labor cost

4. power cost as activities and assign them to the relevant work center

and take Repairs & Maintenance, Store & Administration & Cleaning & Checking as over heads.

as pp consultant you need to be taken care of defining parameters for each one and assigning the parameters to the standard value keys and assign it to work center.

assign related activity type for each activity which will be given by CO.

This question are not answer urgent, this need lot more analysis and month of business process planning. Please involve Senior FICO resources.
