Impact on installaing XI 3.0

Hi,

I am planning to install XI 3.0 along with WAS ABAP 6.40 and WAS JAVA 6.40 on a Server, which is already consisting of CRM and BW partitions. Our operating system is OS/400 and database is DB2.

Now, does my new installation will make any kind of impact on the already running systems? What type of cautions do I need to take?

Your kind suggestions would be of great help.

always use a separate system for PRD ,this is what sap recommends.please look at the installation guide for different scenarios on this

yes you can install on the same system .it depends on the hardware resources of the system , if you have enough hardware this is okay for DEV/QAS systems
