BPM Scenario

hello all,

I am in a situation where i need to collect different xml documents present in my file location in xi server. i need used the same source interface for all the xml document. but my target interface differs based on the document type. i need to perform different mappind based on the document type of the source and again i need to bundle all the data in target interfac into an rfc.

it would helpful if any one tells me how i can effectively execute this scenario

    Raju,

    Use a BPM to collect the files. You will need corelation and then use the Transformation Step to create the mapping , Switch for checking of any conditions etc.

    Hi Bhavesh,

    Pls correct me if i'm wrong. Is it mandatory to use a correlation? Say my file contents have to be moved to 3 different systems based on a field 'FILE_TYP', i can have 3 branches in the fork and transformations rules set in all the branches followed by a send. In MI 'IF..else' condition can be set and be mapped to target system.

    Cant we goahead like this ? After reading couple of docs still i'm not clear the need to correlation. do correct me if i had gone wrong.
