Hi All,

We are facing an issue with AO RRI template.

Based on the selection on Parent AO report, the Child report (RRI) should open. Currently the RRI report is opening from cell A01 without any LOGO/template.

We found, this can be achievable by providing the Template in the default workbook location (in AO settings\User). But the template should be stored in local system or shared drives. (It does not support https/BI4 link)

Maintaining template in each users system is huge task to do.

So we tried the option of saving template in shared location, but as we have different domains in our organization, the template is not getting opened without the network credentials.

As it does not support any https/BI4 link, we are not able to solve the RRI template issue.

If anyone has any solution, please suggest.

Looking forward for your help!!!

Thanks

Avijit

I am a little confused; you say "RRI template" - Analysis Office doesn't come with an RRI template.

You have to build the RRI on the BW back end.

Is your question just a template issue - the logo doesn't appear when you open the receiver document?

Hi Tammy,

Thanks for the reply.

Yes, my question is "the logo doesn't appear when you open the receiver document".

Few more information:

The RRI has been built on BW backend.

Sender -> BEX_Q1

Receiver -> BEX_Q2.

We have created the AO report on top of BEX_Q1.

Now whenever we are using the GO TO functionality from AO report, the BEX_Q2 report is popping up from CELL 1.

But Our requirement so to open the report from CELL 15 and CELL 1 -CELL 14 should show some predefined logo.

As mentioned earlier, we tried few steps. But no luck till now.

Please suggest.

Thanks

Hi Tammy,

Thanks for the quick reply and suggestion.

But the mentioned note is not helpful for our situation.

We want a new excel to be opened as predefined template when we use the GO TO functionality of AO.

Thanks

OK, if you want predefined steps to go to a cell, you may be looking at VBA scripting; unfortunately I am not an expert in that area
