add-on crashes after PC is left idle

I have an add-on that uses DI and the company.disconnect method too. the add-on sometimes crashes when the PC is left idle for a long time.

I am not sure of this is due to the diconnect method used but I have tested this on my development PC with SP01 PL08 with no issues.

The add-on runs on the same patch level.

any information on this would help.
