Master data load

Hi,

I'm trying to load master data to an info object. The data reaches till PSA. After that when i execute the DTP (BI 7.0) i get the error message "Cannot load request to real-time data target". Can someone help me?

Not sure if this helps, with the limited error details you gave...

However,might wanna check this.

Thanks for the info. Is there anyway we can solve this issue without getting into the support packs? Can we check whether the info object has been defined as a real time target? the error i get is as show below.

Message no. RSSTATMAN043

Diagnosis

You are trying to load data using a DTP into InfoCube that set the Real-Time Data Acquisition indicator. This is only possible once the InfoCube has been changed to the corresponding load status.

Procedure

In the object tree of the Data Warehousing Workbench for the InfoCube, call the Real-Time InfoCube Load Response, using the context menu (right mouse button). Switch the load response to Transactional Cube Can Be Loaded. Planning Not Permitted.

DTP is new feature and not robust yet,if you search for just word DTP in the OSS you would find hundreds of notes.

However,sooner or later if you are on SP-08 you have to move to SP-09 ,as the fact to the matter is you may bump in to more DTP related issues.

To me this error seems more to be more of a misnormer ;however its me (CHETAN speaking for myself) and you can wait for others to reply based on their experience to share or SAP to nail this,as i didnt face this error before.

I would always advocate to for for SP-09 if you are on SP08 to avoid later issues.

Wish i cud get the support pack upgraded. But unfortunately this BW im working on is part of APO (SCM 5.0) n there are no support packs beyond SPS7 available for BW component of APO. Anyway thanks for the help. I appreciate.
