Excluding the Child Node values from Parent Total in Bex Hierarchy Obejct

Hi,

We have a hierarchy as below :

+ India 40

A 20

B 10

C 10

Total of India is 40.

Now when i apply report level filter to exclude A it shows as below :

India 40

B 10

C 10

As we see, the Node A disappears from the layout but still the Parent total is unaffected and it still shows 40. Users want India to show as 20 after excluding Child Node A.

I need the output as below :

India 20

B 10

C 10

Please let me know if this can be achieved in webi

have you tried with excluding the value A from webi query->result objects panel->member selector and untick the value A.

c3.pngPlease refer to the below hierarchy.

When I apply the filter to exclude the Commericial Prog Node, the node disappers from the display but the total of Commerical is still 4.2

(Ideally after excluding commerival org node, the total of commerical node shuld be 4.2-0.7=3.5)
