Hello, Greetings!

version : BI 4.1 SP6 patch 6 on Linux

issue:

user1 and user2 belong to same group that has all the lcm usage rights, except "Application -> promotion management -> Allow access to include security" which is disabled.
. user1 exports a few reports in to a lcmbiar file and share that file with user2
.user2 tries to import that lcmbiar file in CMC and get the error

"The error from the server is: . Please check the file.(PRS 00009)com.businessobjects.lcm.utilities.LCMException: com.crystaldecisions.sdk.occa.infostore.internal.InfoStoreException: The property SI_GUID of info object with id number ###### is not unique. Table = 'CMS_InfoObjects7'. Column = 'SI_GUID'. cause:com.crystaldecisions.enterprise.ocaframework.idl.OCA.oca_abuse: IDL:img.seagatesoftware.com/OCA/oca_abuse:3.2 detail:The property SI_GUID of info object with id number 9123221 is not unique. Table = 'CMS_InfoObjects7'. Column = 'SI_GUID'...."

. If user1 generates a lcmbiar file and that file is imported by her only, there is no error. Error is there only when importing a lcmbiar file generated by another user.
. this issue is not there for Administrator ids. Admin ids are able to import lcmbiar files generated by any user

For that particular group, i also tried enabling the "Allow access to include security" right, yet the issue is not resolved.
Really appreciate if i can get some help in resolving this.. thanks much

You'll need to identify which object the PM is complaining about.
You can try searching for its ID (SI_ID) or SI_GUID in Query Builder (AdminTools).

Also, the error appear to came not from Infostore, but directly from CMS Table CMS_InfoObjects7. Which is weird.

You'll need to collect end to end trace, but if I had to guess - when user 2 imports LCMBIAR , it has some object that the user doesn't have access to, but user 1 has.

Thanks Denis, sorry for my late reply..

After some testing, I find that On 'LCM' folder, 'Content -> Promotion Job -> View objects' when this rights is 'Denied' for a user, she will not be able to import the LCMBIAR files that are taken/created by other users.
I had raised a ticket to SAP and they acknowledged that tehy are able to reproduce this issue and forwarded this to their development team. still waiting for their response/fix

if the right is denied - i'd say that would be an expected outcome. what is there to fix ?
