How can we display reports as a matrix?

Dear experts,

we get a lot of request regarding reports in yC4C.

Our latest issue were to display accounts and the responsible employees with their party role. Therefore we wanted to use the data source "Account Responsibility Data". But now we get back three lines per customer if there are 3 employees with different party roles.

We want just one line for this customer and every employee in the same line. We tried to to this by moving the party role to column so that the employee could just get placed under the right role.

But as you can see in standard behavior the system is just able to use key figures for that.

Do you have any idea, how we can fix this or another way to get the result we are looking for?

Best regards,

Fabian

    Hi Fabian

While you could still try and achieve it by moving both the Employee and Party characteristics as Columns and also include the counter as shown below, I wouldnt recommend it.

The Account is listed as your Rows, while the Party Role and Employee as columns. If a certain Role and Employee is valid for a certain account - Eg: Health Rep Role with Bob and Toni for the Account Future Vision, this would be indicated by the valid counter against the Future Vision Row. Since this role and the employees are not valid for Kixo, those columns for Kixo are shown as blank

I would not recommend such a Data portayal in any case, because your number of columns would be based on an n*n between Roles and respective employees. Listing 'Data' as columns in such cases would lead to a report which may not be very legible

    Hope this helps

    Cheers !
