ESS 50.4.(ITS version) problem... Wrong HR data?? ITS Problem??

Hi guys,

I have implemented ESS v50.4 (ITS version), but when I click any link, I get only the introduction easy access screen and no transaction.. What is wrong? Are there some HR data missing? Connections to R/3 and ITS are working fine..

You need to have correct authorizations for the user in R/3. Also, the R/3 user has to be "tied"/linked to an employee (infotype 105 subtype 1).

I'm not HR specialist, but as I know, the user has SAP_ALL authorization and mapping of employee to SAP user is done..

Guys, one more info.. I am able to display transaction (pz10, pz16,... others from ess) directly via ITS correctly..

Hi Peter,

Ok u using ITS 6.20 with 22 patch level.

now check ur ITS configuration under portal.

can u point out it here.

i.e

ITS Description: ESS ITS

ITS Host Name: <fully qualified host name of ITS>: port

ITS Path: /script/wgate

ITS Protocol: http

Check ur ITS configuration in portal,

which ITS u r using? intgreted or External?

all iviews under ESS v50.4 (ITS version) is iac based iviews, open properties for iview under portal content and look at tranasaction code.

there is no authorization issue.

any query revert back

ITS is external.. We have R/3 4.7, ITS 620 patchlevel 22..

I read in some thread, that the same problem occurs, when hotfix on ITS (it was written for patchlevel 19) was not installed. However, we had patchlevel 21 before and now we have 22. And it still doesn't work..

I tried to check the t-codes in iViews, but there are not T-codes, only IAC code.. I tried to create new iView, with the IAC code, but the result was the same - I didn't see the transaction, but SAP Easy Access introduction screen

Any further ideas?
