Hello,

I have a ASP.Net web application written with VS 2013 that uses CR. All is working well with it and we are ready to deploy to a 64 bit Win 2008 web server.

I found the wiki.sap link for the latest CR installers, but am unsure which to select. what is the difference between "MSI 64 bit", "ClickOnce 32/64", "ClickOnce Homesite", and WebXML Deployment"?

Because of other requirements, we need to do a manual installation of the CR redistributables. What is the best option?

Hi Jean,

They are just different distribution methods, try googling MSI, Click Once, etc. They can auto update or not...

Since you are doing it manually use the MSI package.

Also be aware CR runtime is for your application platform and NOT the OS platform. So if IIS is going to run in 32 bit mode then set your App pool to be the same and use the 32 bit MSI, if IIS is going to run in 64 bit mode then use the 64 bit MSI, also requires all of the 64 bit dependencies, DB client, Printer drivers etc.
