Hi Board,
SRM 5.0 , extended classic scenario.
I have the requirement to create Shopping Carts via File Upload from an external system, where no automated interface is possible and manual input is not feasable.
I know that it is possible to create configuration and transactional data via eCATT and BC-Sets, where inout data is provided in a text-based file format.
My question is: Has anybody ever done this? Creating SCs or Purchase oder via eCATT and .txt input in SRM? What are the tricky points? Workflows are working properly with those "external" shopping carts? Is it a big issue to integrate this feature in a web application on a semi-automated basis?
Any pointers to tutorials for eCATT and related topics would be very helpfull.
Many regards,
Richard
